David Herring

Founded the Visitor Express team in 2002 to provide software solutions that reduce the environmental impact whilst improving the visitors experience.

Prior to 2002 David was head hunted to join lead the Internet Programme at Micromuse. Here David built a team of seven elite developers working in both the Uk and USA that built the Internet Service Monitors (ISM’s). Micromuse grow from a 25 person company to a 700+ organisation with a successful IPO and market peak valuation of $11 billion. Micromuse is the second most successful company based in the UK - Ref: Stephen Allott.

David holds a Ph.D from Glasgow University in Aeronautical engineering and a PGCE in mathematical teaching from Oxford University. He works part time as a mathematics teacher at a leading sixth form college in Hampshire.

Interests include chess - winner of the 2014 Speed Chess tournament at Welllington College. Park running - can be found at Bracknell parkrun most Saturday morning, over 100 completed parkruns. Also a keen mountain bike rider, enjoying ever opportunity to get outdoors.
